Importance of a PAC
A Political Action Committee (PAC) is an important and increasingly common part of the political process. Its purpose and value is intertwined with lobbying efforts on behalf of policies that farmers support and oppose. Friends of Corn PAC contributions provide Michigan's corn farmers with a chance to influence policy decisions made at the state and federal level. Your participation is key to ensuring that agriculture’s side of each issue is heard.
Endorsements and political contribution decisions are non-partisan and based on leadership and support for the Michigan Corn Growers Association's policies. Candidate positions are determined by a survey and a variety of other carefully researched factors about the candidate.
