EDUCATION

Education is an important program area for the Michigan Corn office, whether it be informing groups of the many uses of corn or simply educating students about how corn is grown. We receive many requests throughout the year for items that can be used to help get the word out about corn. The Michigan Corn office provides brochures about ethanol, rulers and posters for classrooms, and corn-based items for door prizes when the request meets the necessary criteria. Michigan Corn is proud to be a participant of Project RED (Rural Education Days), where students gain knowledge about agriculture through the many Project RED events held throughout the state.

If you would like an item for your event, submit our request form and we will do our best to provide you with the requested item. You may also download children’s activity sheets or visit the following websites for other classroom ideas.
