The Agricultural Leaders of Michigan (ALM) today urged members of Michigan’s U.S. House delegation to support passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, noting in a letter to lawmakers (attached) that the bill contains a wide range of provisions to benefit Michigan agriculture and prevent roadblocks to continued progress.

Michigan Receives $3 million USDA Grant for Biofuel Pump Infrastructure

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced that Michigan will receive a $3 million grant to install infrastructure needed to supply more renewable fuel to Michigan drivers. The Corn Marketing Program of Michigan (CMPM) lead the grant effort and partnered with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) and local retailers to apply for the grant money.

Michigan to Receive USDA Grant to Increase Biofuel Pump Infrastructure

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced that Michigan is one of 21 states that will receive grants through the Biofuel Infrastructure Partnership (BIP) to add infrastructure needed to supply more renewable fuel to America's drivers. The Corn Marketing Program of Michigan (CMPM) partnered with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) and local gasoline retailers to apply for the grant money.
